Heading To Semuc Champey
Well little did I know when ten of us were climbing into the back of this tiny truck I’d capture one of my favorite shots without even knowing it! We loaded up for the 90 minute trip through winding bumpy overgrown jungle mountain roads for Semuc Champey National Park. A day of mountain climbing and swimming in the iconic volcanic limestone pools, deep in the Guatemalan jungle. Hanging on for dear life, bouncing all over the place, my camera above my head, the shutter in burst mode I was capturing away. Out of 200 plus shots that I knew nothing of what I was getting. I managed to capture a few awesome keepers including this smokey sunset over the burnt out jungle landscape. You never know what you may capture so shoot away. More is always better!
