Nova Scotia, Canada
Let’s talk pizza since I do kinda have a passion for that too! Right up there with my love for burgers. Blame it on me growing up in a place that worships the mighty pizza pie, Pictou County, Nova Scotia. It only comes second to my favorite thing, the burger.
Funny how all the indulgent, delicious things in life go right to your waistline and food trucks are the rage popping up everywhere. Taking over the world of cuisine! So it was very hard to tempt myself to try out this mobile pizza truck “The Rustic Crust” A brick oven, wood fired, from the back of a truck. Moving around
the Halifax area serving up authentic Italian pizza. I went for the basic Margarita when they were parked at “DeWolf Park” on the Bedford waterfront. Simply great, fresh dough, San Marzano
tomato sauce, Buffalo Mozzarella and fresh basil. Their menu is simple and varies depending on availability. Great pizza my friends! Check their websites for up to date information but know “Pizza is serious business to Tom and Mike” and purist say
there should never be more then 3 ingredients on a pizza. So if you are in the HRM area, I highly recommend dropping by for a slice or two. Check out their website or follow them on Facebook for up to date locations and menu for a slice of good pie.
